Does DoorDash accept an online doctor’s note?
Dashers are independent contractors with no attendance policy. No note is needed to stop dashing. A note only matters for the few state or city gig sick-pay programs.

No employer sick leave. California's Prop 22 does not include sick pay. Seattle's App-Based Worker Paid Sick and Safe Time ordinance gives Dashers one day of paid sick time for every 30 days worked in Seattle, and verification can be requested only for uses of more than 3 consecutive days.
