Does Wendy's accept an online doctor’s note?

About 95 percent of Wendy's restaurants are franchised (Wendy's 10-K: company-operated restaurants were approximately 5% of the system at December 29, 2024). One large operator's handbook says a doctor's note is required to return after calling in for three or more days.

Where to submit

Call the restaurant at least four hours before your shift; the handbook does not say whom to hand the note to. To use paid sick time, tell the manager in charge at least four hours ahead.
